Lol, I am not I love how Kay is unconsciously actually knows how to handle Zigril's little games. Although Zigril is sharp, Kay also seem to know him well enough. But, he is a little oblivious to certain things. And their dynamic doesn't help the communication . This is probably the only toxic plot I found interesting in a while. I do hope things progress for the better. Kay grew up having to adapt to alot of things including loss. He knows loss since he was young and thats why he learnt to let things go, especially since he feels he cannot control anything. So I get him to some extend. However I love howahwa is able to mix up serious moments with comedy.
No bcs fr, this toxic relationship has a lot of plot potential and it's very interesting considering how the characters are acting as well as their way of thinking. And I agree abt the fact that the humor mixed w srs moments rlly helps tie everything together

Anyhow I like how they're building the emotional suspense, it's likely that they'll be like that until they find the Mirror who'll reveal what they all truly want and that's how Kay will discover he likes Zigril and afterwards he'll prolly tell him Schuman was trying to betray him but won't be able to in time and when Zigril's gonna be on the verge of death he'll finally admit that he likes him and vise versa or the Mirror will break and they won't know till Zigril boutta die (Schuman will prolly stay alive and get sent to that white haired dude who has a crush on him bcs he'll be bought or sum shit)
