Maybe it's because I'm a very petty person but it's extremely hard for me to empathize with Jooan. If I was in Seojoon's shoes I'd never forgive him, even after all that chasing and explaining. Like I get it, the whole "idealized first love" vs "the one who's been with you all along" parallel is supposed to be the whole point of their romance, but to me just thinking about the insecurities Jooan gave Seojoon during those FIFTEEN years is enough to not make their relationship worth it imo. But that's on me. I'm always reading these stories hoping for the uke to turn over a new leaf and heal with someone new, knowing full well that's not gonna happen and getting disappointed lol.
