If you want to read in peace, you can apply this simple rule. It really helps. I often engage on debates for stories involving RED up to YELLOW. Because these stories are PLOT DRIVEN and reflects IRL scenarios.
There is an INTENT to QUESTION.
Reading stories are like listening to music based on my mood.
I categorize stories based on relevance and INTENT.
EXPERIMENTAL - These are usually short moderately long stories with unconventional plots (mostly smut driven with unusual sexual kinks).
FAM MAT - You guessed, stories to yoink your pp with so you can sleep soundly. These stories are mostly just smut.
BLACK - Toxic, irredeemable, plot-heavy, and has little to NO REDEMPTION ARC. This is where I often shut my brain off. I do my best to separate FICTION from REALITY. Most od the esr stories has the intention of showing what a toxic relationship is to the end. The goal is to show the dynamic of toxicity, not redemption.
RED - The extremely common Abusive - Groveling/Crematorium (chasing arc) typa shit. This usually includes moderate to extreme redemption arcs. This is where MOST BL’s fall into (like Jinx, Painter of the Night etc.)
YELLOW - Mostly bullying (moderate to little physical abuse) and verbal abuse. This often feature stories involving misunderstanding where ML’s often treat MC’s badly, coldly, meanly, because they misunderstood the MC’s goal, personality typa shit. (My Bias is Showing is an example)
GREEN - Mostly misunderstandings, but mostly fluff, and challenges aren’t self-inflicted, but rather, caused by outsiders. This is my Holy Water after reading the other categories above.
Lastly, there’s CLOUD. Just the absolute peak green stories that make me happy.
Dark Fall is in between FAP MAT and BLACK.
So I absolutely have to turn my brain into mush just so I could read it in peace xD
And yes, looking at humongous cocks drilling the poor MC is yummy ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
