Take a break? You mean he chose his brother leaving his son and lover behind to take a break? And the child didn’t deserve to be together with his father that birthed them? No matter how safe or loved a child is, doesn’t change his responsibility as a parent.
Yet if you think he didn’t fail then I won’t choose to argue further as we have a totally different mindset.
