Nobody knows her real name, she's been shown to be a good manipulator, her personality matches the mastermind's one, and she would have a lot to gain from mc dying so she can take her place. And the demons' attacks started just in time for her death penalty to be suspended, so it would have made sense for her to do it. Idk kind of a crack theory, anyway I love this manga.
