Ihyeon isn’t dumb, he’s afraid to make any close connections to people and is socially undeveloped because of it. He knows he’s becoming attached to Jeongwoon and that is something he DOESN’T want. Ihyeon is fighting his feelings due to his fear of losing another loved one and it doesn’t help that Jeongwoon is being sexually aggressive because Jeongwoon believes he can seduce Ihyeon into being his since the pair are very sexually compatible. Jeongwoon is not voicing out his feelings and expecting a man who is admittedly bad at picking up social cues to read the signs that he’s genuinely in love with Ihyeon. Jeongwoon is interpreting Ihyeon’s inability to read cues is Ihyeon playing hard to get because he KNOWS Ihyeon doesn’t to pursue anything romantic with him.

If they wish to have a dumb MC, then make him dumb. Why some writers like to make MCs smart in theory, who have good jobs, etc - only to drag stories around because MCs cant figure out what’s literally in front of them. All issues are so simple, yet so dramatic that it makes it stupid
