What an absolutely horrifying story. I don't know how accurately this portrays schizophrenia, and I would take that with a grain of salt, but the social dynamics are too real. The combination of those and the violence makes this one of the most brutal reads I've been through in a long time, but it was a good one. Not in a feel good way, but more so in the sense that it will stay with me for a long time.
I think realistically Dahye will run into her own mental problems after all of this, because not only did she go through something so horrific, but was also severely emotionally neglected her entire life, and those things leave scars. But thankfully she's got good chances to heal given that she has Gaeun and Yoobeom as support. And it was such a breath of fresh air to see her happy after all of that.
