Well buckle up because this is a slow burn story and both characters are quite well developed and dont rely on those cliche tropes. None of the unplanned pregnancy/ love at first sight because his face is good/ using pheromone to trigger Dane to sleep with him can works here. Dane is actually a man who is not easily swayed because of some past trauma or alpha's pheromone.

So real for the cliché tropes. I wouldn't read DMIYC if it's a common story. When I'm reading DMIYC, i tried to guess the next scenes and for the first time I am not right. One of the most unpredictable story for me. Grayson is the one who surprised me the most with his character.
And then he kinda cleard his image idk, and now (⊙…⊙ ) i wish author atleast makes him cry or smth, kinda wished mc would have been mid fucking a baddie while ml watches in depair cause lol he not your man
