if you’ve read this author’s other works or even familiar with this story since beginning you should know that she is not into healthy, not toxic couples and mls so i don’t get the point to whine about that this is disgusting or toxic, you had the signs since start and literally contunied to reading this story which is about alphas trying to transform beta to omega behind his back. i don’t want him to redeem himself, what is making him this appealing is this unashamed and unhinged persona, this story never builded on self-worth or character devolopment. i rlly get the ick when people trying to push green flag necessities into red flag story. it’s okay if you are not the audience series presenting for but why staying and complaining then while you can find what do you want? i like all angst, red, black or healthy stories in their own way but it’s really stupid to trying to push your morals into story

Nobody is saying the ML suddenly needs to become a fucking green flag They’re saying he should actually face consequences for the shit he did. How the fuck is that “pushing green-flag morals” onto the story?

And “you knew it was toxic from the start” is such a lazy-ass argument. Yeah, we knew it was toxic. That doesn’t mean we have to shut the fuck up and pretend every shitty action is automatically good writing. You can enjoy a red-flag story and still criticize how the author handles the characters.

And if you’re only looking at the angst and toxic scenes, of course you’re going to miss the context we’ve been given about his issues, attachment problems, and need to feel wanted. How the fuck are people supposed to understand any of that if they’re just supposed to ignore everything except the angst?

Nobody is asking for a healthy couple. They’re asking the ML to get some fucking consequences for what he did. Those are two completely different things.

but this story never focused on that or gave you reassure for that. what i meant by this moral code is exactly this one-sided expections. you are giving your expections to wrong content so it’s exhausting for both sides. this story is not build for “you can do better than this,” but two guys who are unhealthily dependent to eachother. we all know ml is toxic, mc is aware of this too but he is taking easy on him because he is dear to him. more than once he accepted his toxic side and endured it. this is not ideal in real life, yes but that’s why it’s fiction and you are free to what do you want to read. you are looking for genuine love, builds on trust and devolopment and there are plenty of stories out there like that and i can recomned you plenty. but for this one you are in wrong place and wrong audience. complaining because story and couple’s dynamic’s not going to your liking is egoistic. the author doesn't have to please everyone; they write as they wish, and you choose according to your own preferences.
