I genuinely don’t understand why people are so fixated on saying that this isn’t a green-flag couple. I don’t even know what some of you consider the exact definition of a “green-flag couple” anymore, because if communication, consent, mutual respect, and actually talking things out aren’t green flags, then what the hell is?

Don’t let other people’s opinions influence your own reading experience. I’ve seen so many people calling this manhwa “mid” simply because the main couple communicates, respects each other, and doesn’t constantly create unnecessary drama. Apparently, they find that “bland,” “too good to be true,” or boring. Like… what exactly do you people expect?

And honestly, I think a lot of you just find the second couple more interesting because they’re toxic. Just admit that you enjoy toxic relationships and messy dynamics. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying that in fiction, but don’t turn around and pretend that a healthy relationship is somehow badly written just because it doesn’t give you the same drama.

What’s even more ridiculous is that I’ve seen some of the same people praising or defending other toxic MLs despite manipulation, coercion, and genuinely fucked-up behavior. You’ll write paragraphs explaining why those characters are “complex” or “interesting,” but the moment a couple actually communicates, respects boundaries, and gets consent, suddenly the relationship is “mid” and “not green flag.” Be fucking serious.

You don’t have to like this couple. You don’t have to enjoy the writing. You’re completely entitled to find it boring. But calling them “not green flag” simply because they aren’t toxic enough for you makes absolutely no sense.

If you don’t like healthy communication, consent, and mutual respect in a relationship, then fine. Just admit that’s your personal preference instead of pretending the manhwa is objectively bad because it doesn’t cater to you.

And if you genuinely hate the main couple or find the story that boring, then why are you still here? No one is forcing you to read it. Drop it and move on instead of repeatedly complaining about the exact things that make this couple healthy.
