I read the novel years ago, during pandemic, so I don't really remember the entire details at all. There's this part where Sovieshu was suspecting Glorym as not his biological daughter. So he brought Glorym to the temple to have that blood testing. A drop of blood of Glorym and Rashta's slave master's son was said to be confirmed after by the Pope, saying that he's the father, not Glorym.
