Zhenya loves taekjoo hence him freaking out about strangling him and in a conflicted and panic state he leaves. A couple chapters earlier his family is talking about raiding the island taekjoo is on (they don’t know he’s there) to look for Anastasia, because they think the reason zhenya is on the island a lot is because he’s making another Anastasia. in this chapter when zhenya goes back he is sent on a “mission” that invokes stopping these honeypot spies (honeypot spies are spies that use seduction to capture their target) from conducting murder suicide plans but I don’t think it explained that scene well, but based on the novel I’m assuming next chapter will jump into some action. I hope this explains it well without spoiling
