Read the novel, so cute!!

I've read the novel and the development of their relationship is so cute. DeMarcus thought they were in a relationship because Hess forced him to break up with his " imaginary boyfriend." He thought they were in a relationship the entire time and mc just didn't say anything because by then Hess fell in love. ( you'll see the fake boyfriend on chapter 9.) Their relationship goes public because DeMarcus wanted to go shopping with Hess despite Hess insisting he's broke. DeMarcus insist to go shopping because he wants to get matching clothes and then Hess is like so you want everyone to know. DeMarcus does not hesitate in saying Yes and Hess calls up the coach. ( After that day, everyone on the team knew they were dating.) Hess goes on a shopping spree btw and spends over 10,000 dollars on clothes with Demarcus money. Them explaining their relationship to coach and Hess almost got kicked out but DeMarcus steps up and they were able to resolve. Hess stays but they no longer can meet privately. They don't break up btw, but it's just they need to win the season and the deal is that if they won then they could be roommates again. My favorite detail was that Hess said " at least Im reminded of Demarcus " because of the clothes he bought. The clothes remind him of his boyfriend
