Many, many chapters later after lots of two sided abuse (uke vanishing to make seme go insane, seme spraining uke's ankle to prevent him from vanishing again) they're eventually honest to one another and the seme finds out the uke did all of that just to be with him and MOST SURPRISING OF ALL, they get a happy ending together (sprinkled with certain unhealthy codependency but who could really expect otherwise?) and start living together elsewhere to start it over fresh.
