Wow... That was such a rollercoaster of emotions. I am amazed Minhyung actually got punished for murdering people! This is definitely a thriller more than it is your typical BL story. Very smutty forbidden love between found family type stuff. I quite liked it. There were so many moments that kept me guessing and the author did an amazing job making Minhyung both twisted/psycho yet tragic and sympathetic. I really like how Minhyung actually HAS to face the reality that all the stuff he did to possess Yijae was ultimately pointless because he NEVER truly earned Yijae's love.
Pretending to be like Namhyun, monitoring/isolating Yijae and killing people only got him as far as physical intimacy and co-dependency. All along he wanted Yijae to love him for him but the sad thing is there was really no way that was going to happen organically... He was so desperate for Yijae to love him he stopped being himself and tried to become someone else. But is that real love? No, it isn't. Yijae only loved the little bits of Namhyun he saw in Minhyung. Not Minhyung himself.
Minhyung was never going to win this. Yijae never stops seeing him as a brother, even after all the intimacy. The only way this could have had a happy ending is if Minhyung accepted that Yijae only saw him as a brother and tried to find love somewhere else.
What he does is completely unforgivable but you can't help but want things to turn out well for him. I am glad he gets punished for his crimes of course but I can't help but feel sorry for him.
After this site went through some kind of issue that deleted all my subscribed series I completely fell off keeping up on this one! I randomly remembered it existed today and I'm glad I got to see how it ended without spoilers!
