How about, MC was brought into a camp in the forest where the other slaves r. But those slaves r residence of this kingdom that will be delivered or transported to another kingdom where the kidnappers can sell them.
To save them, a group if adventurers, including Doug, was there and they saved the slaved and killed the kidnappers-

What if- it's not Doug and Gale he pair up with but the 1st prince （￣へ￣）
So the set up is the same, Doug saves him cuz he felt pity and they took care of him as normal peeps and not cuz they r his pair. THEY EXTRA TOOK CARE OF HIM WHEN THEY LEARNED ABOUT HIS MAGIC AND AFTER HE HEALED THEIR MISSING ARM AND BROKEN LEG!
Thus, they went back to the kingdom. And like how it unfold, they'll introduce him to the royalty as someone with great healing magic.
Thats when the 1st prince and him will meet and the 1st prince will fall in love at first sight.
NOW IMAGINE! A world where our MC works hard to have a place in this world by learning and teaching healing magic!
And as the 1st prince, slowly helps MC and become friends!!!
They'll slowly develop feelings for each other and this and that happened- and they'll be a power couple!!
