Not just that, they felt like there were chapters or pages missing in between with how much the story skipped around. I’m usually excited to get side stories and extras, but reading these just left me feeling disappointed somehow. It’s supposed to be a happy ending, but they barely even smile.
Anyone else find the side stories weirdly melancholic? They were such a departure from the tone of the rest of the series, they felt like they were from another story entirely. They weren’t awful or anything, they just didn’t feel like they “belonged” at all. It was such a strange way to wrap things up.
