Reading the novel I hate both of them. It shows both of them have their own faults. They look like incompatible with each other because they're in opposite sides of the spectrum. BUT FUCK, THEY'D LIVE IN HARMONY IF THEY JUST TALK ABOUT THEIR ISSUES AND BE, AT LEAST, COMPASSIONATE WITH ONE ANOTHER
I hate how emotionally constipated the ML that he actions look BAD with how he phrases it and the phases of the stuff he does (bros prolly in the fucking spectrum) BRO LISTENS TO ANYTHING EXCEPT WHEN IT MATTERS THE MOST. I hate how MC is saying anything EXCEPT addressing their issues that's straight to the point. MC is observant to literally ANYTHING except the hidden intentions his man is tryna do, FUCK READ BETWEEN THE LINES BETWEEN THOSE LINES. GOD READ IT TWICE DEEPER
Money is ultimately the driving force of their relationship, quite realistic in this economy and the title. Im infuriated
