Are you the slow one? They’re literally explained that there is a barrier around Clover’s aunt’s estate which makes it hard for anyone to enter, which is why her dad had to send in the cat through a weak spot in the barrier

Hello????? This does not happen in the story???? Like idk why you're being so slow but ig some people's brain aren't utilized to their full capacity or they're smooth asf.... But like- the whole reason why she was hidden was to protect her FROM THEIR POWER THAT COULD KILL HER IF THEU STAYED IN A CLOSE RADIUS. And also why the temper house became the BEST CHOICE at the time, was bc they're her mom's 'family', also where elysia planted something that will protect clover from danger AND bc of the barrier protecting temper that not even Claudians, the strongest family, can pass through. Which meant there would be no external threat.
Also bc of that very fact, duke claudian himself cannot interfere or trespass the barrier hence wwht he sent his summon. And to add to that is that he TRUSTED the temper family to take good care of Clover bc she is Elysia's daughter, a 'family', and he never thought they'd mistreat a member of Claudian.
