I wouldn't say he's a red flag. He's just too obsessed with the ML and does everything to be with him but actually it's not that bad (≧▽≦), it's rather entertaining <(￣︶￣)>

I'd say beige because ML emotionally groomed the MC but never actually physically harms him or threatens him. Obvs ML is also all around a psycho (at least according to his suboordinates) and he is a little too obsessive. It's a fairly comfortable read though, it's easy enough to miss all bad things if you don't really think into it
Gigantic red flag, he’s been grooming him since they were kids, has assaulted him in his sleep, and was literally going to trick him into marriage. Also the entire country knows but he’s such a psycho no one can do anything.
