So no story about how they got close? Isn't that more interesting

The author has so far skipped his three years in prison and however long they were together before (and after) that. It’s really weird to have almost no details about their life together. Going from finding an injured dragon to fucking it is a logical leap the author really shouldn’t handwave away!
