In my defence I only came to read this manga because I misread the title and thought I saw "sausage castle".
Having said that, there is simply no coming back from killing a child. Like I do not have a human child but I see no world where I would ever forgive & go back in love with the man who killed my child, father or not!. That kind of development doesn't happen. I will not simply end him. I will live just to torture tf put of him for the rest of his days!
