That sex scene is the most obvious "please add a sex scene to attract readers even if it's forced thankssss" from editors/bosses to the artist/team adapting it that I've ever seen. Like, it's so clearly an attempt at saying it's "18+" so they can sell it that way. Wish they would have just kept the original slow burn, it's better than forcing a completely unnecessary sex scene....
