I'm ngl it's kinda weird he keeps pushing his boundaries but this story wasn't fluff from the start anyway. He's balancing the thin THIN rope of pushing boundaries and making him feel bad while at the same time 'giving up' and just letting it be. It is what it is style. But anyway I guess Daol's trigger is jealousy?? There might be some chaos/angst after it tho...
