i think it’s more realistic for ideum to realize his feelings first because he’s a really internal character (and a writer!! he’s constantly using his own experience and emotions to write!!) whereas we see jaeyi mainly from the perspective of other people. like his closest friend was already like hmm ur different w this guy but jaeyi seems very skilled at shutting down his emotions (like whatever’s going on with his brother and having quit both swimming and judo)
