I hope that the MC will ghost ML for like some weeks or months. Then ML will be crazy as fuck searching and thinking what did he do or what happened. Then the MC will just pop up, out of nowhere saying his heart is in trouble(literally) and needed emergency care. And he just don't want the ML to worry about him. ML will be obssess with MC, following him like a baby duck. HAHAHAHAHAHA
