There are quite a lot that are like that where the uke is alwaysssss the one at disadvantage, the one not able to take lead, dependent, self blames, shorter height/ smaller build, or just delicate asf. Typically - but I’m pleasantly noticing more diverse taller and bigger ukes nowadays, specially on manhwa and a few in manga.
For once, I would love to see a true power bottom taking a high end smug as hell horse off their throne and crush em beneath their feet exactly as how many of these mf trash semes been doing to our ukes.
Like I need a comic that gives a “F*ck you” Kinda vibe toward Passion/ Roses&Champagne dynamic plot. Either in successful sweet revenge for the uke, and complete advantage for em the whole way. Or entirely from start to finish, no need for revenge, of the entire plot. Like we need to see our relatable strong bottoms of the BL world at thee top and makin it, which I never really do except on rareee occasion - a true power bottom.
I really like reading mangas but there’s this regressive pattern i have noticed across all mangas that really gets on my nerves. The victim always blames themselves, there’s this reinforcement of purity culture and almost all mangas are misogynistic and adhere to the heteronormative way of life which is especially weird for a bl manga . Like come on i am here to read the love story of two guys .
