FUCKKK this is so good!!??? dohun and yuwon are such well developed characters, i feel their personalities are fleshed out and the dialogue sounds and reads mature. i lovvveeee when the horror artstyle slips in, especially dohun’s childhood section!! it was so eerie and uncomfortable, i couldn’t stop reading. i also loved how we saw both dohun and yuwon’s POVs - things we couldn’t understand suddenly clicking when we see the other character’s POV was sooo sick. the author is sooo clever with the art too, making everyone’s faces indistinguishable and have no name tags in yuwon’s flashback?? insane!!!
while the flashbacks have been really long, it’s been soo good at helping to develop their relationship like i feel like i believe their history and the stakes involved now. my only gripe is the character design for yuwon, i dislike how his eyes have been drawn compared to other characters but other than that, the artstyle works so well for this kind of plot. cant wait for more!!
