Mediocre, had potential but not executed well.

The more I read it, the worse it gets… the pacing is really off, it’s too fast or too slow at times. Another issue is the shy/timid tiger paired with the dominant sheep, neither character’s personality is fleshed out enough to justify the pairing in the first place. Barely any legitimate conflict and there’s too much fluff smut.

On top of that, we’re told the sheep used to be the submissive one in his past relationships, always dominated. So why not actually explore that instead of throwing in random drama? If he was submissive before, that’s a natural setup to show the buildup, how that past shaped him into the dominant character he is now. Honestly, there was no point even mentioning that backstory if they weren’t going to dig into it, it just feels like wasted potential. And beyond that, the characters don’t seem to have any chemistry outside of the physical/sexual aspect.

There’s also a misunderstanding of why sheep read as docile, it’s not some inherent trait, it’s a byproduct of domestication. Domestication is what gives them that “value”, tigers were never domesticated, so they don’t get that association. If tigers had been useful to humans the way sheep, cats, or dogs are, they’d likely carry the same “docile” label too. The docility isn’t about the animal, it’s about its relationship to humans.
