Saw a theory saying they’re both being investigated so that’s why they narrate that way but that doesn’t seem likely since they narrate too intimately about each other for that to be it but the possibility is also high since the situation they’re in on both sides includes violence (baekhees shit for brain dad wanting to kill Baekhee & II-woo’s disgusting cousins)
It breaks my heart that their future self are still in difficult positions (that’s my guess…?) and reflecting back and having their regrets. I also have a guess that they’re currently separated (not saying someone died or by choice) no idea how or why but that’s just what it seems like.
Something I noticed too is that baekhee’s dad says he took after that “worthless side of your mother” as in saying his kind and righteous nature is from his mother and he hates that, of course since he’s a evil fucking shit faced man
Baekhee’s mom probably loved baekhee (well based on his pretty name ) but seems like she passed from giving birth (or perhaps something else, and if so it’s definitely the fault of his father )
