I read the MDZS book series, and it is one of my fav pieces of media ever. All the story arcs, characters and relationships between them are done so well that the ending feels both satisfying and heart-wrenching, knowing what the characters had to go through. I recommend you read Erha, but FYI it's just more trauma :')...
