It's objectifying and lkind of tied to history of fetishization

Girl it's not fetishization, I guess? Idk I've seen people joking that "dipping in chocolate". I mean unless you're brown yourself, then no offense I'm sorry

I'm half black and it's very much is fetishy. Dripping in chocolate is a joke that mean a white person with a fetish for black people (usually a white man and a black woman)

Girl I'm brown myself? Idk it doesn't feel fetishization? I have been called brownie and choco cookie, and chocolate by my friends, it don't feel weird.

I'm guessing your friends don't wanna fuck you, these terms are being used in two completely different ways, using food to describe their skin/body, in a sexual or romantic context turns someone’s racial features into something to be consumed or desired rather than just seeing them as a person. If you don't have a issues with it thats you but it is fetishy it has been historically.
