Okay so right after the MC escaped from ML’s house he was caught by his boss he used to work with in his past job before he met the ML and confined him. The ML found out and killed the guys who hurt him, they reunited after a really short time and realized they need each other. Then after the rescue, the ML broke Mcs legs and he couldnt walk, the MC thinks he did it because the ML loves him so he accepts it, and he thinks the ML loves him in his own way. I stopped reading after that because why the fuck does this story need redemption arc when it’s fucked up from the start? I heard there was no redemption arc from novel spoilers either, so dont waste your time reading the shitty novel. If you like fucked up stories then this is for you. The ppl who thought this story was great because the ML slowly loved him, I can’t agree lol. I don’t think he can ever redeem himself to what he did. And also i forgot to say he wanted to kill the Mc the entire time he thought he escape while the MC thinks he cares for him which is pathetic. Im not gonna finish the novel even if im curious what will happen towards the end cuz no amount of fluff and slow display of affection from ML towards MC can make me think everything is gonna be okay lol
PS. Their first time together was just plain rape. The ML called it rape too, and it was horrible. The mc bled, got anal lacerations, and seizures for two weeks right after. The ML felt no remorse because he’s supposedly a “psychopath”. Horrible
