some ppl are asking why Taeseo is acting like this. i think its because hes insecure and has always been scared about the possibility of Yeomin leaving right from the beginning. Taesoo has very low esteem, he doesnt think highly of himself so he doesnt understand why Yeomin might even like him as a person, which is why he thinks its all about what he can provide financially.
He knew deep down that the material things he could provide was basically worthless to Yeomin who was very capable of taking care of himself even when he had nothing. he kept insulting Yeomin's means of earning a living because thats his main enemy, thats what he brings to the table. if Yeomin is independent then Taeseo would be worthless. so he had to create scenarios where Yeomin would NEED him financially. But he did too much and it backfired. Now that he thinks Yeomin is going to leave him (and hes right lmao), he is resorting to physically restricting him from leaving, not just financial means.
