Pleasantly surprised

You wouldn't expect it from the most recent comment that goes on a a rant about how much the ML is a red flag, but this one was cute. I usually partially start skipping through the story because most of then boil down to the same thing, I did not do the same for this one.
The FL can be frustrating, if you read further and learn her story you finally understand why. People are calling her all sorts of names because she is not a "girly pop boss baby I make money" Mary Sue. She feels grounded and makes impulsive decisions that i can relate to.
The ML feels more flat in that regard but again like the FL, you'll understand when you finally reach his story. He actually grew on me the longer it went on. And no, he is not a red flag.

Yes, the story does have a worrying title and premise, especially about consent. And no, it's not really addressed because both characters don't see it as a traumatic event and not something to worry about. Both of them were not in a sober state, both of them were drinking strong liquor, and yes, ML was in a more stable mind to reject, yet he didn't.

In real life, at the lightest a worry, at the standard a crime and at the worst a death penalty. But this is fiction. I've seen, read and listened to heinous stories that are based on reality that are worse than this.

As a side rant,
I expect most consenting adults to know about how consent works, especially on this site. And there are people who have rules in regard to consenting when they are technically not in that state of mind. Consensual non-consent exists.

To continue,
the rest of the red flags some people are talking about are jokes and are meant to be extremely exaggerating in terms of money and social power.
