Ok so I'm on chp 18 and there's a few thing I'm a bit confused about as someone who works in a law firm Corporate department: why is he (ML) as the Head of Corporate working on dispute cases? Sure, as the head of the department, his expertise could be needed but the litigation side of it would be dealt with by the disputes team, so that's something I'm confused about. Secondly, the precedents skill that the MC apparently has isn't necessarily an asset, at least not for someone working in the Corporate department.. that would be a great skill for a Knowledge Lawyer but precedents and contributing to the Knowledge Bank is usually a KPI for every fee-earner at a law firm. Thirdly, why are there so many papers to look through, like physical or printed paper??? I've only ever seen the dispute resolution department print paper, etc but the Corporate department barely does that or even need to do that cuz it's all digital. Is this because it's depicting a Korean law firm or did I just misunderstand their roles or something?
