If someone says after 20 chapters ML is redeemable, I will kill them. My hunch is that this is exactly going to follow the Jinx route. If you’ve seen what happened there, the ML spent like 80 chapters in complete denial about being in love with Dan while literally destroying him both physically and mentally. And then we got that shitty excuse of a redemption arc that was basically just a couple of chapters of him crying, and that was supposed to make up for everything. So I’m seriously worried this story is going to pull the same shit.
The only difference here is that the MC actually has a fucking spine and seems smart enough to stand up for himself, so I’m really hoping the author doesn’t go down the Jinx route. That ending was so damn disappointing. At this point, I’d rather they just separate, have the MC move on completely, and never go back to that toxic relationship again. Let him find someone better and actually have some fucking peace for once.
