After reading the extra with the author note, I can verify that it is just a prompt that passed their mind while doing mundane things and they've been hyperfixated on it for several months to realize that "Oh no, what have I made?"
Lol not hating on it but it feels like a kid wrote the story cause it was so rushed and many things didn't make sense , somewhere in the middle they made it obv that it was gonna be a poly so the author pushed it in that direction without proper plot but still ig i enjoyed the story
