I actually tried to imagine how I would feel if my half brother on my mother's side and my half brother on my dad's side (conclusion = my two not-related to each other brothers) fell for each other, and somehow it doesn't feel weird? Like in my head they're nothing to each other, so idk. It doesn't feel that strange. It's unfair in their case cuz sohm fell in love waaaayyy before their parents fell for each other.
