Been a while since this ended! Thought it was a good time to reread hehehe and I did!!

I love the regret trope but not as much as when tops in particular aren't actually grovelling at the feet of their love which was partially the case for this but I actually really like the build-up and the fact that there's always possibilities of making mistakes even if you're living a second time. And ofc the biggest part of loving this is simply Sejin. I love how multidimensional his character is. Loved one of the comments here explaining how he is well-written. There's a teeny tiny chance that I might've scrapped this if not for him. I also like that just because it's his 2nd life, Ido doesn't drastically change much from his first life; he's fundamentally the same person he always was but with regrets. They've both made mistakes but Ido's one is unforgivable. Rape is a conscious act of domination. Not to mention how he systematically abused Sejin. Even after seeing how battered he was.

Well, anyway. I actually wouldn't have minded at all if Sejin left him for good. I don't hate the outcome though, and once again it's because how this story was built up and because we get to see Sejin actually dwell on it before coming to a decision. I love the something-is-wrong-but-i-can't-put-a-finger-on-it trope a little too much. It's borderline horrific. That's that from me, can't wait to reread again in a few months!!
