The second painter to show up who's shown to be a villain is dark skinned and it seems to be a pattern where if they're men and villains they're dark skinned. The second villain who was her literal kidnapper and almost SA'ed her gives a whole other level of ick.
Fair enough. These types of korean stories either show darker skinned people as either very fetishized and imperialistic or barbaric and villainous nothing inbetween
