LOVED THIS SO MUCHH!! (spoilers for the whole story)

tbh i haven't felt that empty sensation you get after finishing something you liked in a while, but this did it for me. the plot twist was the most unexpected shit for me and i was also mislead by the cover thinking it would be some sort of psychological story, but i was greatly surprised to see that gitae had not been kindapped and the whole time they were in a zombie apocalypse. i like how the print that jihoon's parents left on him was very noticeable throughout the story but he was ultimately able to heal thanks to gitae, just like gitae could find someone who loved him amidst such a disaster. i also loved how they became this kind of assassin couple near the end, really bomb hehe.
the finale also had me almost in tears (idk why i couldn't get the tears out). them being photographed by a camera that desired to see humans and that camera registering their relationship being the last remnants of love, and acknowledging civilization as the existence of this love among humans, contrasting the pure survival mindset humans had taken in their last years means so much to me. the initial pov of the camera was such a sweet choice by the author, and to me it even embellished gitae and jihoon's relationship more, it was so beautiful to see them be the last couple on earth and fulfill the desire of an inanimate object whose wish was to see love. moreover, the fact that they are the camera's last photo and perhaps the last photographic register in human history makes me a little sentimental too, because more than them being the ones who got till th very end, it was their love that did that and allowed them to be last on earth.
adding to this, the ending is EVEN MORE sweet because it seems like they now can be free. jihoon can now be taught by gitae all the things that his parents took away from him and they can escape this survival mode they've been in for years, even if they had it WAY easier than the rest of humans. i hope they get to do whatever they want, and i know whatever happens it'll be fine because they have each other. and frankly, with a duo like them, i doubt they'll need anything than their other half for the rest of their lives.
finally, FLUFF WAS 10/10 AND THE SMUT TOO.
this review is all over the place but, as said in the beginning, i hadn't read a story which made me feel this good in a long while (the closest is pure intentions which i really like too but didn't get to this point) and i just wanted to put my thoughts out there since i really had to take it out somewhere.
P.S. i think i'll read Boss Bitch Baby now since i want to learn more about the other couple.
