in my understanding, ilay prob made a possessive prefatory gesture/face to mess with xinlu. well he was js curious abt taeui at tht time so he was messing with both taeui nd xinlu. like first he kissed xinlu in front of taeui nd then this cell scene. and he also knew xinlu aint dumb lmao he prob made a face like "i can steal him from you if i want to" smth like tht which xinlu understood well enuf cuz he went pale haha nd then the story follows with xinlu making a deal with ilay abt sleeping with him in exchange of leaving taeui alone lmao tht scene was drawn kinda intense too in manhwaa
Yeah I would just love to know- I’m re-reading the novel and hadn’t picked up on that the first time. I’m picturing him doing lude expressions behind Tae’s back
He really liked messing with them at that point. I think he was so drawn to Tae and never had the type of feelings before that he was forming for Tae and didn’t know what to do.
I really need to know what Ilay did behind Tae’s back in that cell.
From behind Taeui, Ilay seemed to have done something that suddenly made Xinlu tense up. His eyes flashed a sharp blue, and his lips pressed tightly together before a short laugh echoed from behind. When Taeui turned around in surprise, Ilay had already turned his back and was walking deeper into the cell. Taeui watched him with a displeased expression, then turned back to Xinlu. Xinlu was still staring after Ilay, his gaze blank and emotionless.
“What’s wrong? ……. Are you upset? Did he do something?” Taeui asked with concern. But Xinlu didn’t respond; he remained silent, just looking at Taeui. After a moment, he unexpectedly reached out and grabbed Taeui’s hand. His hand felt slightly cold, damp with sweat.
“Hyung……. Please get out soon. I’ll be waiting for you, don’t forget that. I’ll wait for you. Get out as soon as you can.”
