I wishhhhhh I didn’t have a specific preference so I could have a higher pool of BL to choose from, but I like the bottom to have a specific aesthetic + set of character traits.
For example, I love a black-haired tsundere bottom. Bonus points if he’s buff, older, or kind of cranky.
Obviously there are exceptions… but I immediately drop the story if I’m wrong about who tops and bottoms, and internally I’m like: GOD!!!! GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!! IT DOESN’T MATTER!!!!
