it actually had depth and tackled dark topics with tact. i was pleasantly surprised by how much i liked the side characters (like hashi and marja.) louie and zeth were lovely. the bond yullur has with both of them is also really heartening. i'm treating this as a standalone. i'm just gonna ignore the rest of the stories in this same universe...
