Reading the comments made me realize that people struggle to put themselves in other peoples shoes. Like... arranged marriages arent anything to sneeze at, it is literally you being used as a bargaining tool for your family and you have no say in it. Yes I agree shugu is the best, he is loving and caring despite his age, the best choice and I think Oto is trying to hide fiance from shugu because Oto doesn't want to inconvenience Shugu with the family dynamics he has been trying to escape. Like how would you react if you were living a peaceful life with a very good possible partner, the one of your child, and then reality comes running in and hitting you like a freight train and you havent been given much time to think about it? Yes I know people are going to object this but im the kind of person where Yes I have my own opinions but ive learned if we just think narrowly, we all become a-holes. I think we need to see what happens before calling Oto a dumb stupid idiot, like many of you have said. Oto has been able to give birth without support and raise Akane alone, we cannot call him a blah blah blah ah ah ah idiot, dumb people can't raise healthy happy babies alone and have a fulltime job too.
Anyway I will probably delete this because I am an anxious person and people behind a screen can be mean to people with other opinions.
