So this was basically just your typical bl where the mc ends up with their abuser but obviously, people love to romanticize that saying that’s true love when it’s clearly not. The comment section made me realize that nobody cares abt ian at all. It’s always about who he ends up with but never about him, about his traumas, about what he has gone through in his life bcoz of the toxic situationship that lasted over 19 years. Literally not a single soul felt bad for him when he said to his abuser,’ Are you planning to break my other leg too?’ but instead here they were rooting for that abuser. There was literally not even a single chapter dedicated to his healing. All the 98 chapters, the author did was drag the love triangle and did not care about ian at all. instead of dragging the love triangle unnecessarily, she could have just dedicated some chapters just for ian and his healing, his thoughts but there was literally nth for him when he is the mc. I don’t understand what about this story is great when this was just lazy writing and your typical bl. The bathroom scene was hella uncomfortable and ian was raped but obviously, that doesn’t matter coz it’s a story about gang and ian’s feelings never matters here. And ian never knew the full truth, didn’t even receive a single apology and not even an ‘i love you’ from his mf lover and nth about their story is romantic like the comment section claims, it’s just toxic obsession.
