I literally was about to comment the same thing!! That'd be such a good resolution with the foreshadowing of him mentioning it. People are downvoting this, but what exactly is the expectation from such a story???
I know the author introduced the idea of the bottom being ready to sacrifice himself in his previous organization and not having the "desire to live" as an opportunity to somewhat humanize the top when he proposes to join his side and survive. But I really hope it's not some boring AF development where the bottom ends up just working for him in the end and we never see him get revenge on him.
yeah I would love for bttm to never be genuinely on the top's side maybe he manipulates the top and starts working for him under pretense but revenge as the end would be so buzzy. At the very least i hope we do not get a happily ever after like that'd be so ridiculous lol
it would be so hot if he does kill him during sex in the end
