This kind of bond is more formal than just friendship, so if you haven’t confirmed, don’t be surprised or hurt when shit happens. Assuming someone’s on the same page leads to nothing but misunderstandings
I see where you are coming from, and I agree with you on that. That was the whole point of my comment: neither one of them had that conversation until the GW got ahead of himself. The gray area was there because the nature of their relationship had not yet been established, yet both made their own assumptions about the other on the matter.
They both spent the last five chapters jealous of each other, yet neither one of them is on the same page. My heart broke for Gun-woo because he never hid his feelings, and it was clear from day one that he acted as if they were already together, while Si-hyuk likes to talk about the age gap and Do being "naive" yet couldn't even have the simplest conversation.....and he FINALLY has the nerve to ask "why" which is something he SHOULD HAVE asked ages ago, you complete fucking idiot. If anything he needs to take this moment into a push to do some self reflections; That why at the end proves some self work is needed bcus it's clear he has some underlying issues that he hids behind money and sex.
