He was technically made by the Doctor. He used to be a normal human but then the Doctor played with his genes. In the first place, he was already sorta dying because speaking the Doctor’s secrets hit a trigger mechanism in his brain/body that signalled his cells to start lysis. It was slow, it was supposed to take a month i think? Idk i can’t remember it anymore asdfghj
He was originally an esper. What experiments Doctor did to him, it doesnt tell in the manhwa. I think since Doctor was mental type of esper he put that trigger onto him? Like the guide who killed himself.. and who knows what he did to his body to selfdestruct

It’s a reach. But I did find it weird that there was a throwaway scene with the Doctor looking at the cola and saying that junk food was basically poison to Lee Hansol.
